Mobile-based learning has taken the world by storm, especially in 2020, when many of us were stuck in our own silos at home. So-Young Kang is attending the Global Education and Skills Forum 2019. She will be a part of the academy to award this year’s #globalteacherprize in Dubai this weekend.

So-Young was invited by Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and IBFSG - The Institute of Banking & Finance Singapore to speak and inspire delegates and global ambassadors. on her entrepreneurial journey.

Much has been said about the future of work – how digital and technological waves will transform the work, the worker and the workplace. So-Young Kang shares her insights on what it means for educators and training providers.

In 2018, through the theme of 'How do we prepare young people for the world of 2030 and beyond?'; the Global Education & Skills Forum is challenging its delegates to consider what we need to teach our children and how we can move those lessons to action.

It was truly a privilege for So-Young Kang to inspire and empower Deans of leading business schools from around the globe to rethink how we teach and how we learn. 

This year’s theme, Anticipating and Preparing for Emerging Skills and Jobs, will take a holistic approach to different types of skills that employers are looking for and how the education and training systems are responding to rapidly changing requirements in light of the fourth industrial revolution. 

So-Young Kang was part of the final closing plenary session alongside, Nigerian Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Okey Enelamah, CEO of Siemens Nigeria, Mrs. Onyeche Tifase, Chief Learning Officer General Electric, Roti Balogun, at the 23rd Nigerian Economic Summit 2017.

So-Young Kang will share her experiences as a disruptor and educator to embed values and develop character from her first teaching job in Japan to how it influences how she builds and leads her companies. She will share her views on the future of digital learning and how digital technology is redefining how we engage with content to bring it to life in experiential ways.

So-Young was invited by the Financial Women’s Association (FWA) Singapore to talk about “The Power of the Feminine” where she shared her own experience as a woman in the corporate world.
